Shown below is Bill Bogusky taking questions from the media on his last day on the slopes. Bill’s illustrious career, noted mostly by his nifty outfits, came to a close at Beaver Creek, Colorado last week. When asked why he chose to hang up the boards at what would appear to be a successful comeback, he replied, “It’s the skis. Too short. At the rental shop I asked if they came with fried-rice. I spent a lifetime working up to 205s. Damned if I’ll give in to a fad!” With that, after autographing the lift ticket of an adoring fan, Bill strode off, turning once to give that familiar wave and cherubic smile.
